Miharu Takizakura
Japan’s leading “Sakura Falls”
The Miharu Takizakura, one of the “Three Great Cherry Blossoms of Japan”, was designated as a national natural monument in the 11th year of Taisho. The tree is 13.5m high, with hanging branches extending 25m east to west and 20m north to south. The shape is beautiful, just like the flowing water of a waterfall, so it is also known as the “Waterfall Sakura”. At night, it looks even more charming after lighting up the lights.
