Hosshoujigawa

There are approximately 2,000 cherry blossom trees planted along the 2-kilometer-long embankment of the Hoshoji River. They are spectacular and beautiful when they are in bloom. They are lit up at night, creating a fantasy-like atmosphere.

The row of cherry blossom trees along the Hoshoji River embankment around the Hoshoji Castle ruins is 5.3 kilometers long. During the cherry blossom viewing season, many tourists come to immerse themselves in the dreamy cherry blossoms. This is a cherry blossom viewing spot that you can enjoy from day to night. After dark, under the light of lanterns, the best view of the cherry blossoms is from the top of the castle ruins.
